Default What do you do for a living?

I don't know if this has been asked or not...

I work in the IT department of a school district. I run three computer labs, do tech support, repair computers and help our Jr. High kids and teachers keep their 400 iMacs running. I'm also the sole tech person for a small private Catholic school. I also do computer repair, spyware removal and basic web design/consulting on the side. Oh, and some eBay. Yes, I basically live in front of a keyboard.

Regards,
Michael

Study the effects of air pollution on plants and plant communities. Mostly in the southwest where it is dry (and smoggy). A little field study, a little laboratory stuff, a little reading/writing/'rithmatic.

Retail management. I get to listen to people complain all day, and hear their life stories.

Some days its pretty entertaining, others; not so much.

By vocation, I'm an architect, but that got a little derailed by a sick kiddo, although I still make the occasional buck doing design or consulting work. For money I'm a "mom for hire", and small people rent me by the hour.

I am a chef which has its ups and downs for weight loss...
I stand and move around constantly while I am at work which is good for burning calories
But I also have food in front of my face ALL THE TIME!
