Default How Can I Convince My Friend Not to Undergo a Plastic Surgery

My friend who encouraged me to go to the gym and to change my lifestyle to a healthier one have often been mistaken as a man because she looks too masculine. She was my best friend and ever since high school she looks kinda boyish already. Now that she's into HIIT her muscles became more define. It is totally ruining her self-esteem especially now that she's single, she's having a hard time finding a partner. She was once mistaken as a transsexual and she took that really hard. I told her to stop working out to tone down her muscles but what she has in mind is different. She wants to undergo plastic surgery to improve her facial structure. Her face appears elongated and rectangular shaped which is perceived as more masculine so she wants that to change. As her friend I don't like her to undergo any surgery because it's too risky. How can I talk her out of this?

Perhaps the plastic surgeon will give her good advice and she will see that surgery is not the answer.

Undergoing plastic surgery can be a life-changing decision for many individuals, offering a chance to enhance appearance and boost self-confidence. Whether it's a cosmetic procedure or a reconstructive surgery, the process requires careful consideration. The journey begins with a consultation, where a qualified surgeon discusses goals, options, and risks. Much like a first-time surfing experience there’s a mix of excitement and nervousness, as patients navigate the unknown. The recovery period can be challenging, but with proper care and patience, the results can be incredibly rewarding. It's crucial to follow post-operative instructions for the best outcome and long-term satisfaction.

I honestly don’t know what to say or advise. Maybe seeing a doctor would be a good idea, but the problem is, sometimes you might get a doctor who’s more interested in making money than giving good advice. I don’t know. Maybe she should go ahead with the surgery if it will really make her happy.

But first, she should definitely find an amazing plastic surgeon with tons of great reviews, so she can trust that if something’s not right, the doctor will talk her out of it. But, at the end of the day, it’s her face, her choice, her life. I know you care, but you’ve never lived in her shoes, so you can’t really talk her out of it or try to convince her otherwise. It’s the same with things like a Brazilian butt lift, for example https://globalmedik.com/en/brazilian...-its-benefits/. It’s popular now. Not everyone can get the body they want with just exercise and all that, and some women just don’t like the shape of their butt. I think it’s up to each person to decide for themselves.
