The start of my weight loss journey

I went to see my doctor last week because I wanted to start the Paleo diet, like any diet that I've tried I always make sure that I consult my physician first. It's a good thing that my doctor uses a medical software and he was able to access my medical history records easily. He even gave me an access to my own electronic Personal Health Record and it would be easy for me to see the diet plan he gave me as well as things to remember. I could also easily ask him questions and request medical refills online.Great isn't it? That is one way to enjoy my weight loss journey. Have you ever heard of EMR? Better ask your doctor about it.

Great idea to run your diet ideas by your doctor first! It's another way of being able to track your progress, too - no matter what, when you visit your doctor's office, they usually automatically check your weight. This gives them a number to use when considering prescribing dosages of medicines; but it also puts a number in your medical records.

Yeah. That's true. In fact I have already updated my doctor and he uses this for electronic prescribing. I think it has something that automatically does the calculations for him since he always does it fast and he never brings out his calculator like he used to before. It's easier for me as well since I can no longer lose his prescriptions. XD

I have been struggling with my weight as well. I have been on meal replacements (Shakes) and I guess it works for me. I lost 7 lbs in 20 days without starving myself.
