I'm looking to switch to eco-friendly packaging for my small business, and I'd love to hear some recommendations and experiences from others. Specifically, I'm interested in biodegradable and compostable options that are durable and presentable for shipping products. Has anyone tried different brands or types of eco-packaging that they would recommend? I'm also curious about any challenges you've faced with eco-friendly packaging, like cost or customer feedback.

I recently purchased eco-friendly packaging from One Earth, and my experience has been pretty positive overall. The products are high-quality and truly eco-friendly, with a variety of options like kraft tray, biodegradable bubble wrap, and compostable mailers. One tip from my experience: make sure to double-check the dimensions of what you're buying. I ordered some mailers that ended up being too small for my products, but One Earth’s customer service was great about helping me exchange them. Another piece of advice is to start with a small order first to test out the packaging with your products and see how your customers react. I’ve found that including a note about the eco-friendly packaging in each order not only informs but also engages customers, making them more appreciative of the effort to be sustainable.

I went through the same transition last year — started with biodegradable mailers and cardboard packaging for customers, then switched our internal storage to reusable solutions from a logistics closed crates manufacturer UAE after finding Crateco.
It really helped cut down waste while keeping inventory clean and organized, and customers appreciated the eco-conscious shift. The upfront cost was slightly higher, but it paid off quickly with durability and fewer replacements.
