Smile Hi everyone!

Hi everyone! I'm Antonio and currently I'm working as a writer for a newspaper site. But seems working too long without exercising makes my body weaker and looks kinda... weak. So I hope to learn more from you guys to keep body to shape.
Thanks !

Welcome Antonio:

I have been journaling food on Fitday since Sept. 2001 and have lost 72 lbs. over the years. Journaling your food accomplishes 2 things: 1) You finally understand what and how much you are eating which leads to integrity around you food intake (this eliminates the thinking "I never eat a thing and I keep gaining weight!" 2) You can understand how your body processes food for fuel and make healthier and more tailored food choices that work with your particular metabolism. At first I really resented journaling my food but it has become second nature and I do it in a few minutes each day. The best thing about Fitday is the "Reports" section which also helps you to understand what nutrients you need to add into your diet and where to cut back. I have about 55-60 lbs. to go to reach my goal weight of around 155 lbs. As a post-menopausal woman who is now nearly 69 years old I can say that losing weight after 50 years old is a definite struggle but it can be done. Making time to get in cardio (30 minutes per day of walking 5 days a week will help speed up your metabolism too...walk first then go eat lunch...easier on the stomach and digestion this way)

It's great that you're looking to prioritize your health and fitness, especially given the demands of a job that may involve a lot of sitting and writing. Incorporating regular exercise into your routine can have numerous benefits for both your physical and mental well-being.
