Angry I Can't Believe This Happened

I went home over the Christmas holidays and realized that I'm bigger than my mom. As I grew up, she was always trying to lose weight and struggled with it. I took on those feelings and have always felt fat. Now looking back, I can see that I wasn't, but I am now. I have periodically kept up with my stats on FitDay over the years. Today I looked back at where I was 10 years ago and where I'm at now. Over the last 10 years, I have gained 64 lbs. No wonder I feel horrible all the time. It's time to get serious about getting back to a reasonable weight.

I know what works for me: no white flour, no white sugar, and exercise. On paper, that doesn't look so hard, but my emotions tend to lead me in the wrong directions. I'm definitely an emotional eater, but it's time to realize that as long as I'm overweight I'm going to feel bad about myself. I'm going to have to get my priorities figured out. I work full time, while trying to keep my own personal business going, while dealing with a relationship mess. I have to realize that I can't deal with any of this, if I don't get my health taken care of.

The time is now.
