Introduction
New to group with about 107 lbs to lose. This is day one of my diet. Right now I'm focusing on watching portion sizes as I use up food on hand but after I shop the plan is to switch to a low carb diet. This is my first day dieting, it's tough and I'm not feeling great so I'll keep this short. Any questions anyone might have just ask. All I can really think about, focus on right now is for 8 o'clock to roll around so I can have my snack.

From what you've written, it sounds like you may want to take a peek at the Motivation and Accountability thread. In that thread, folks post up any particular goals or strategies they hope to accomplish for the week, then post updates as to their progress. There are no rules as to what your goals or strategies include -- you post what YOU want to do. Others provide encouragement, support, suggestions and so forth. It's a really fun and friendly group!
