Hello everyone
I just joined and would like to share my success with a small weight loss. I have tried every pill potion ,powder I heard of for the last 20 years but continued to climb from 180 to 203. 5 weeks ago I started to record calories and used the amount all the websites said I should eat to loose 1 pound. Wala!! it has worked for 5 weeks,1 pound a week and kept it off,Looking forward to sticking with it till I get to 175

Great so far, thanks! I'm sticking with it - down 23.8 lbs and happy about it!
I just discovered I've been eating too many calories the past few weeks (a mistake I'd been making with my numbers!) so I look forward to the progress that comes with using the right calorie balance
Feel free to join the weekly motivational thread [under Motivation and Support Forum], people are on there daily chatting about goals and tips and struggles, and successes! It's nice to have a support group through the journey

Hi there and welcome! Sounds like you're off to a great start! As Roxy already mentioned, feel free to join in on the Motivation and Support board! There's a new Motivational thread that starts up every Monday where we post throughout the week. Some fitdayers make goals for the week and check in on how they are progressing with their goals. Others simply chime to give and get support and motivation. Also currently happening on the Motivation and Support board is a Distance Exercise Challenge as well as an Easter Challenge. Please feel free to join in on any thread that suits you!
