I had an off day. I had a migrain start last night and still had this morning. When I got up I ate some ceral like most days. I went to sleep in my chair for like 2 hour or more. I got moving about noon. I have drank my water and even counting in the ice cream with carmel topping, I still came in under. Made pork stir fry to night. zucchine out of garden, cerlery and tomatoe out of green house. and lots of other veggies, and of course made enough for 4 or 5 when it is only 2 of us.

It is going to be good weather for the next few days and 25C on Sunday for the wedding. I have 3 dresses to choose from and I haven't decided which one to wear. The good thing is that they all fit me well.

The weather here has been in the 70's. It's unbelievable weather for August. It is usually 100 this time of year. Cool weather makes it easier for me to feel positive.
Libby: It's great to have clothes that fit great and not too small or tight! I have some that are way to big for me now. Instead of keeping them, I gave them to a mission store. I thought at first I would keep them just in case; then I was like whattttt are you thinking, there is no just in case. I told myself there is no going back there ever! I also think its a great thing to reward yourself with a new hair cut. I do the same. I go spend a lot of money at the mall to get different color of highlights and coloring put in my hair. I usually am really thrifty with my money. The reward makes me feel good and even better about myself. In the past, I would have rewarded myself with food for weight loss. Eating something unhealthy never made me feel good. Crazy I did that, huh?
Ian: That is a lot of calories for early morning. Just try to make up for it the rest of the day. Maybe just eat veggies the rest of the day, so you will not go a lot higher.
Nyda: You are doing terrific!
I hope your headache went away. I had one all night that kept waking me up. It went away awhile ago. I was afraid I would be here work with a bad headache. I used to get migraines and still do once in awhile. An ice cold wash cloth on the back of the neck helps relieve it. You might try that.
Jenn: Looks like you are doing good on your goals. Keep up the great job!
Mel-Mc: I wish I could make myself drink as much water as you do. I need to start focusing on water intake again. Good job!
Week goals:
1. Log everything I eat daily: yes, yes, yes
2. Stay under 1,200 calories/day: yes, yes, yes
3. Push myself to walk faster: no, yes, yes
4. Do daily stretches for better health and to relieve stress: yes, yes, no
5. Walk with walking buddy in the evenings (my daughter): yes, no, no walked alone again

Good afternooon everyone. I was able to get the breaker to stay on today for the pond. Got the pump running again, I am sure the fish are happy about it. I was afraid I would have to get someone to come fix it. The plugs and all have been there for 13 years.
So far so good. I am a little behind on the water. I will have to start really getting on that.
I have posted everything I have eaten today and I am doing really well. I have a nice scale for the kitchen and so I am weighing and measureing a lot this week. I feel much better today so I maight actually get posted here twice to day.
and as far as the ice cream and carmel goes It was part of the calories for the day and and I sated with in my limit.
Have a good day all. nyda

RenewedSoul: My usual water intake is 1L a day. The 2 liters are quite a stretch most days. I think maybe if I tried it again I would aim for 1.5. It's not hard when I keep the 1 liter water bottle on my desk.
Goals:
1. Weigh, measure, and record everything eaten T=Y, W=Y, Th=Y
2. Keep calories at 1400 T=1711, W=1450, Th =1480
3. Two liters of water per day (to wash away all that vacation salt and sugar) T=1L, W=2L, Th=1.5L
