well, everyone. I went off the deepend tonight. I had a late lunch, but also had a dinner of leftovers from last night, which I should not have had. It didn't fit in my calorie goal. on top of that I had a handful of cheetos. and definitely too much soda.

I blame it on my oldest son. He had me super stressed out and upset today (to the point of crying), and also my wild hormones this week which led me to stress eat because obviously I have not learned self control yet.

Tomorrow is a new day. I hope and pray that I am successful at not foraging in the pantry and just sticking to my shakes and 1 regular meal with maybe a (healthy) snack. That's my goal.

I hope everyone has a good weekend.

I had high expectations for weigh in on Friday and I was disappointed that I hadn't lost more weight. To compound matters I was up too late last night and went foraging in the kitchen. First I ate a slice of toast with butter. Then I ate a slice of pizza and then I had some dark chocolate, two pieces. That added up to a whaping 800 extra calories when I was already at my limit for the day. In hind site I should have just gone to bed. Eating more food solves nothing.
Lisa, today is a new day. Let's all have a good week end.

Oh you guys! I know what you are going thru - and I wish there was something to do to help.... Doritos sound AWESOME...

I managed to 'stick to my goals' yesterday and last night even through it was Friday night... I was looking for something to eat last night, and I got pizza for my daughters and wife.. I managed to stay away from it - and made myself a small dish of spicy shrimp with a pit of onion, celery, and low sodium organic veggi broth.. I did have a few Ritz Chips and peanut butter....

I have SO desperately been wanting to be OUT of the 260's - and I WAS this morning when I weighted... Now a 258.8 ... I'm happy with that for today!!

Now making a poached egg and a piece of back bacon for breakfast.... for me and my wife.....

Brian, good for you for resisting the pizza. I didn't and my weight is up this morning. My day today is starting out fine and I should be all right today. I was alone last night and that is why I ate carbs. It's a hard habit to break.

Brian: Glad you made it out of the 260's! Now if I can make it out of the 250's, I'll be thrilled!

This morning we met a childhood friend of my husband's and his wife for breakfast at a local restaurant--they were traveling through our town on their way to their cabin in another state. Enjoyed meeting them but all the NSVs were so much more wonderful for me. Things like not being the largest person in the group and eating on plan even though I was given French toast when I had specifically asked the waitstaff NOT to bring it. His wife even said at one point that I was eating way to healthy to associate with them! I took that opening to briefly tell them why I did and the benefits I've seen so far. Now to work that meal into my foodplan for the day and adjust accordingly!

Have a good weekend, folks--weigh-in day's a-comin'! Vicki

Our lives have gone even more haywire--and I'm not up to posting. I took my daughter out of school last week and am now homeschooling her. In addition, my parents own a home in the Bay Area with tenants, and the tenants are refusing to leave and threatening a wrongful eviction lawsuit. I need to take care of the situation for them, so I'll need to fly down and meet with a lawyer shortly. When it rains, it really, really pours!

GOOD FOR YOU! I can only imagine what you are describing is like.... kind of makes the work to get there worth it doesn't it??

I am looking forward to NOT being the largest person in the group.... Still a ways to go to get there yet!! One step at a time!!!

I'm barely over my calorie goal for the day and it's not even 6pm. I will most likely have another atkins w/ milk before the night is done, which will put me a total of nearly 300 calories over! yikes. For dinner we had BLT's, but instead of bread or a tortilla, I had a Hungry Girl Flatout Artisan Rustic White Thin Pizza Crust. It's mostly like a tortilla and is only 120 calories...half of that of a tortilla. So I felt like that was a win. Plus it's got 5 g of protein in it!

I hope everyone is doing better than I am. I just can't get off the soda. water is going well, but I just can't kick the soda habit. I was drinking diet for a long time which was of course 0 calories, but I kept hearing about all the horrible chemicals in it, so I went back to regular.

My Shakeology sample pack is supposed to be delivered today, but dh is out late tonight and has the only mailbox key. Although FedEx tracking still says out for delivery, and it was supposed to have been delivered in the regular mail earlier this afternoon. I hope it's there. I really want to try it.

Ok, everyone. do well. have a good Sunday. I'm terrified of Monday's weigh in. My monthly bloat still hasn't gone completely and I'm still up from last week even though I only went over my calories a little bit a couple times. Well, except last night...I went waaaaay over last night. So maybe that's why. I dunno. Anyways, have a good Sunday!

No.. I'm not having a better Sat night food wise. Well it is a good Saturday night, but I have some red wine (for me).. I bought my teenage daughters potato chips for there evenings activities (and I've been nibbling). I am okay on my calories even with the first glass of wine... but the third will put me kind of high I think..

The wine is for heart health - honest...

My wife is in one of "moods" so it is shaping up into one heck of a Saturday Evening!

I'm guessing I'll be back in the 260's tomorrow am....
