I was away at my in-law's cottage for ten days with no wi fi. The whole time I ate sensibly and did a fare amount of walking. I was hoping for a better result on the scale but it is what it is. With only 4 weeks left I don't think I will get to my goal but any little bit helps.

After vacation with family and a wedding, I didn't gain--and I did eat. I tried to make choices that were on my food plan, but about two pieces of fried catfish, a homemade biscuit and a slice of decadent wedding cake called my name! And, yes, I enjoyed EVERY crumb!

After enjoying the vacation and cooking for the 4th, I found almost 2 whole pounds--that means I didn't reach my goal. Was sodium too high?--probably and carbs, too. But that doesn't mean my goal has changed. I've got my 10 yr wedding anniversary this week and after that, well, the journey continues!
