Bea - Couldn't agree more with daily weigh ins being immediate feedback to yesterday's choices! I didn't get in enough water today and ate more carbs than intended....may show up on the scale tomorrow.

I was happily surprised to see a down number this morning, especially since I didn't get in all my water yesterday. I did make good breakfast and lunch choices; dinner was meh - DH was cooking and made shrimp and pasta. At least shrimp are low-cal, but I had to guesstimate the calories, as he never writes down what he's cooking or amounts. The sauce was also light, which I thanked him for.
It's the first time I've seen below 181.8 in almost two weeks, I think. Hopefully it's not a "bounce' but a step in the right direction.

That's so nice that you had a pleasant surprise this morning Terri! I too didn't get in enough water yesterday and ate more carbs than intended, but still was ever so slightly down this morning.
I only have two more days to lose .8 lbs. Got to get in my water and a couple workouts and cross my fingers!

I drank lots of water yesterday and flushed out the salt. It wasn't hard to do since the weather was hot. We are having a heat wave with a weather advisory. I could probably count on the fingers of one hand the number of hot days we have had this summer and it is nearly over. Th scale was good to me this morning. I should make it to 178 by Friday so I am on track.
I wish all of us a good weigh in.

Annette - Don't sweat it, you're going great!
Weight fluctuates on a daily basis for all of us. If you're staying true to your commitment, overtime your weight will come down. Weighing and posting daily is just a good way to keep on track, but it's not for everyone. Some people are better to weigh on a weekly basis so they don't see the daily fluctuation. It's up to each person what works best for them and what keeps them motivated.

Annette: Don't let one day get you down. I've bounced as much as 5 lbs. before from sheer water weight or soreness in my muscles from working out.

I had a great day yesterday (almost too great, my cals were LOWER than I normally like to be - I'm going to be starving today). I hit 180.4 previously this month before bouncing back up, so I'm hoping to bust through it. If I start beating my goals for the next couple of days, I'll adjust my expectations for myself!
