To keep track of your dog's diet, invest in an automatic feeder. These devices dose the food correctly and can be set to a specific amount of food depending on your pet's needs. With WOPET , you can control how much protein your dog gets based on the recommendations on the packaging. Simply choose the right food and set the feeder to the desired portion.

When choosing dog food, the percentage of protein you need depends on your dog’s age, activity level, and breed. For most adult dogs, a protein content of around 18-25% is ideal, but more active or working dogs may need higher levels. Always check the ingredients list—look for whole meats or meat meals as the first ingredient, which indicates good quality protein. Avoid foods with too many fillers like corn or soy as the main ingredients.

When looking at dog food, the ingredients list gives you a sense of what’s in the food, but to know the exact protein content you should check the guaranteed analysis on the bag — it tells you the percentage of protein, fat, fiber, and moisture. Think of it like how fast food restaurants use fast food containers: the container gives you an idea of the portion and presentation, but the nutritional label inside tells you exactly what you’re getting.
