Substitute for Mac & Cheese

What I do is I get a can of wax beans. They are like green beans except yellow and lighter in flavor. I heat them up and then pretend they're macaroni and cheese. I think it might help the illusion if you sprinkled a little parmesan on them too. They look a little like macaroni and cheese and you can easily imagine they taste like them if you salt them a bit.

One package of shiratiki noodles* (40 cal for 2 servings), Laughing Cow light swiss wedges (35 cal), a dash of milk, a tablespoon of a hard salty cheese (parmesan, aged gouda, etc), and salt and pepper. The whole dish is under 100 calories. I often add turkey sausage and steamed broccoli. It's my go-to super-low-cal meal.
