Why do so many PI firms still use outdated marketing strategies?

I’ve been looking at how a lot of personal injury firms promote themselves online, and honestly, much of it feels stuck in the past. The same generic content, the same ads, the same local SEO tactics that were popular a couple of years ago. With how fast digital marketing evolves, I’m wondering if those approaches still bring real results today.

Talking to people in the industry, I keep hearing that leads are getting more expensive and competition is tougher than ever. Clients behave differently now, attention spans are shorter, and platforms change their algorithms constantly. Yet many firms seem reluctant to adjust their strategy or question what they’ve been doing for years.

Digging deeper into this topic really opened my eyes. There’s a clear pattern where firms keep repeating what worked before instead of adapting to how prospects actually search and decide today. A great breakdown of this problem is explained in https://www.linkedin.com/posts/gerri...73318400-Zja1/, which shows why relying on the old 2023 playbook is holding firms back and what needs to change to stay competitive.

Partnering with a programmatic advertising agency from Elite Web’s list https://elit-web.com/best-programmat...sing-agencies/ has been a game-changer for us. We’ve benefited from cross-DSP media buying, data-driven audience segmentation, and dynamic creative optimization. The result is更 targetted spend, clearer ROI, and transparent reporting that makes it easy to see where improvements come from.
