Default Icemaker Issues

You know that slow drip-drip-drip that slowly drives you crazy? My refrigerator's icemaker has started leaking a small pond onto my kitchen floor every few hours. I've tried the basic fixes I found online with no luck. Can anyone in the Aurora area recommend an appliance repair service that's really good with diagnostics? I just need someone honest to tell me if it's a quick fix or if I need a new fridge altogether.

That slow, mysterious leak is the worst! I had the same maddening issue with my own fridge last winter. I was convinced I needed a whole new unit after watching a dozen confusing YouTube tutorials. A coworker finally urged me to call a professional, and I’m so glad I called High City Appliance. Their technician discovered it wasn’t the icemaker itself, but a tiny, cracked water line tucked way in the back that I never would have found. He was super transparent, showed me the part, and fixed it without any pressure to upsell me on a new appliance. If you're in the area, their Aurora team at https://highcityappliance.com/aurora really knows their stuff. They saved me from a much bigger expense and a major headache.

That dripping icemaker sounds super frustrating — especially when it keeps pooling water on the floor. Before jumping to a full replacement, a good technician can accurately diagnose whether it’s a simple seal/line issue or something more serious inside the unit. If you’re near Orange County, it’s worth calling a reputable appliance repair in Orange County specialist to come take a look and give you an honest assessment. A solid diagnostic visit can save you money and clarify whether it’s worth repairing or time for a new fridge.
