Default Why Chemistry Often Beats Individual Rating

If you were building a top-tier team, would you rather have five of the highest-rated individual players in the world, or a balanced roster where each player excels in a specific role? Why do so many "superteams" fail to reach the #1 spot on the leaderboard despite their mechanical talent?

Building a top-tier team is not only about collecting the highest-rated players. A balanced roster, where each player masters a specific role, is usually more effective in competitive games. Teams need communication, discipline, strategy, and trust, not just individual mechanical skill. Many “superteams” fail because talented players often compete for the same roles or struggle with teamwork under pressure. Chemistry and adaptability are often more important than star power alone. Even the best players cannot consistently win without coordination and clear leadership. I agree that balanced roles and teamwork are usually more important than simply stacking star players. Strong communication, trust, and chemistry often separate championship teams from failed superteams.

Mechanical skill alone cannot guarantee success in esports. Teams with clear leadership, preparation, and players who fully understand their responsibilities usually perform more consistently under pressure.
