When you see that a software upgrade is going to ruin a beloved program in which many people have invested many years, even decades, why would you adopt that software???????

Default Cronometer was the answer for me

I've been on Fitday forever as well, like most people on this forum. This was terribly abrupt and upsetting, and I spent a couple of hours yesterday checking out competitors (and logging in custom foods). I like tracking not just macros, but micronutrients as well. The best alternative I found is Cronometer. It seems professional, easy to use, has a good database, and a lot of ways to customize info. Still, no matter what, it's gonna take a loooong time to re-create what's been lost here. Definitely feel like the rug was pulled out without warning.

What makes them think they are going to keep their members when the key feature of this site is the ability to keep accurate food logs? Every other feature is just ancillary to that. They should say goodbye to whatever income they were making off of this b/c 90% of their customers will be gone. Here since 2004. Don't understand why they say I joined in 2013? Can't believe I've lost 19 years of data., most of which I manually created myself.

They probably will shut down by June 2023.

Angry Site sucks now

Wow, this sucks. I am thankful I exported my weights a few months ago otherwise I'd be so mad!! I had 20 years of weights in this app. There was no forewarning either. I never use forums so this little blurg above is useless. It's never coming back; what's the point of this site if not for logging food.

As someone mentioned you can still access it by using this link www . fitday.com/fitness/FoodLog.html
Save your weight information asap though because I'm sure this will be shutting down soon.

It works for me still if you just type in the address manually after logging in: www.fitday.com/fitness/FoodLog.html

Same here.I joined in 2006 but my membership join date say's 2011. That is a minor irritation now though as I'm devastated to be honest.

Cool Free vs. Paid

I too have used FITDAY for years and am sad to see the free version is gone. I wonder if you can still purchase the other version. Seems like the owners should have let us know, prior to shutting down the free version, if the paid version was still available. Does anyone know?

Worked for me too. Not sure how much longer it will work for us all though. Sounds like they are going to abandon it.
