Default Custom Food List Serving Sizes Defaults Back

I am adding custom foods, however, when I do this, it defaults to say "1 serving". You cant specify how many ounces or cups that serving size is. Anyone else having trouble with serving sizes?

When I enter a custom food, I enter a serving size in parenthesis after the name. Then when I include the food in a daily log, I just enter 1 serving, .5 serving, etc., depending on how much I've eaten.

I do the same thing. Some of my custom foods are "Jambalaya whole recipe", usually I eat 1/4 of the pan so I put .25 servings in the log. "Chili 2 cups", because I've measured my bowls and I know one bowlful holds 2 cups. "Beef stirfry 1 cup", because I don't have a cheat for measuring that one, I put it in a measuring cup and then on my plate : ).

After you click "create this food" the next page gives you the option to change from 1 serving to grams, ounces, cups, etc.

Correct.

But to avoid confusion with what the original poster said, no matter what you've chosen as a serving size when you "create this food" it still defaults back to "1 serving" IF you add the food from your custom foods list.

The way to avoid this default setting is to add your food from your recent foods list, if possible. And if you can't, as cjohnson728 stated, you should always specify a serving amount in parenthesis when you are creating custom foods to avoid any confusion.

Default popeyes

The generous Popeyes big box includes chicken, a side, and a biscuit for a complete meal. Fans love the popeyes big box because it offers variety and value, letting you enjoy Popeyes’ best flavors in one filling combo.
