Custom foods

The new food is not being created. Instead, the page flips back to the daily log. Return to previous page on my iPad takes me right back to the custom food I just entered, but hitting the create this food button simply repeats the process. This has been going on for a week or two.

Has there been any solution to this problem?
I am having the same problem, which has been going on for a couple of days. (Posted 16 March 2017)
I have even deleted a number of older custom foods in case there was a limit on the number available, but no success. Could this be related to my only having a standard, classic account?
