Anyone losing weight from just walking?

... but I run 'cuz it's faster and I only have so much time available for exercise.
In my dream world I would walk to do all my errands and then go for an 8 mile hike just to see what's going on the world.

Walking works
I walk daily, in the garage on the treadmill (craigslist, cheap) vary the speed and incline for 60 min, when my wife gets home we then walk outside(weather depending) with the girls as a family another 2-3 miles.
Walking in addition to eating healthy the last 2 months dropped 17 pounds so far, once my rotation changes in April and work starts at 0600 will then be adding 30 mile bike commute several days a week and hopefully keep walking.

Yes, I lost 5 lbs. in a month just walking. My doctor actually told me cardio, cardio, and more cardio. Just make sure you are breaking a sweat and I think it's a great exercise. No cost, no special gear , no worries about what you're wearing. Walk on !!!!
