Lightbulb Can anyone help.

Hi everyone. Wanted to know if there was anyone out there that can help me out. Does anyone know of a good way to firm up the stomach area without doing sit-ups. I have brocken my tailbone twice and I'm unable to do situps but need to get rid of my stomach, or to just firm it. I would be very grateful for any ideas. Thanks.

Starting weight 150lbs.
Cirrent weight 146lbs.
Goal weight 125lbs

Couple to get you started.
Plank
Hanging Hip/Leg raise

Don't forget the rest of your core muscles. Waist exercises.

If you have access to a pool, put on a pair of water shoes or old tennis shoes and walk back and forth in chest deep water. You have to keep a stable "core" to do it and use muscles which support the back and the abs together. Plus it has a nice high calorie burn!

Go to your local library and borrow a Pilates DVD or a book about Pilates. It is very 'core-intensive' and yet you don't have to do crunches or sit-ups. There is a Pilates routine that approximates that but never requires you to sit up.

What about laying on your bed w/your feet on the floor and lift your legs -would the bed be cushy enough for your tailbone? Just a thought.
