Hi! I have just started playing golf and realized that I need a good hat that would protect me from the sun but also be comfortable and stylish. Can anyone share their experience and what models of golf hats they use?

A good hat is definitely key for protection and comfort. When choosing a golf hat, look for styles with good ventilation and UV protection, such as baseball caps or wide-brimmed hats. Have you thought about the specific features you want in your golf hat, like breathability or an adjustable strap?

When I first started golfing I had a hard time finding the right hat. I tried a men’s bucket hat because it has a nice wide brim that keeps the sun off and it’s breathable so it doesn’t get too hot. It also felt more comfortable than some of the other hats I tried. If anyone’s looking for a similar style it’s definitely worth considering.

A bucket hat sounds like a great option, especially for keeping the sun off your face. I’ve been looking for something comfortable too. Did you find it stayed on well while playing? I’m also curious about the material. Did it wick away sweat effectively?
