Default Biggest Challenge to Staying Fit?

I'm getting older and running into bumps in the road as I workout and try to stay in shape. Curious to know what types of problems others are running into and what you're doing to resolve (if anything)?

Well, my biggest challenge is getting the right cardio-weightlifting balance. It seems simple but it's a big deal for me, with all the work that keeps chasing me and the very short free time that I have per day, it's extremely difficult to do both of them. So, I usually go for weightlifting as I don't need to lose weight as much as I need to build some lean muscle although weightlifting has been proven to be very effective for weight loss on the long term. So, my main problem is that I need to gain muscle but at the same time, I have to watch out for my nutrition to avoid gaining a lot of weight, taking into account that I'm not able to do any cardio due to the lack of time.
