Hi everyone! As we all focus on our macros, calorie counting on FitDay, and hitting our PRs in the gym, we sometimes overlook one of the most critical components of fitness: Recovery. We know that muscle grows when we rest, but in our modern world, our nervous systems are constantly overstimulated by bright screens and blue light, even late at night. This "visual noise" can keep our cortisol levels high and interfere with the deep, restorative sleep we need to recover from a heavy leg day or an intense cardio session.
I’ve recently incorporated a "Sensory Reset" into my post-workout evening routine. Instead of scrolling through social media or watching bright videos right before bed, I take five minutes to sit in complete darkness to let my brain's melatonin production kick in naturally. If I have to use my devices for last-minute
