The serious female fitness model takes a similar approach to health & fitness as a male model. Weight/strength training, ab work, running or other cardio, boxing, swimming, etc. A body like those shown on the Victoria's Secret runway are not won by a few hours of daily exercise alone. The girls adhere to fairly strict diets to keep their bodies lean and fat-free. Steamed vegetables, chicken and fish are often on the menu, along with choices like yogurt and fruit for breakfast. Marisa Miller also avoids alcohol, soda and carbs before a shoot and eats raw, clean foods 48 hours before a shoot or runway show. Eating foods that are low in calories yet highly nutritive often throughout the day can keep your metabolism burning and supply your body with the fuel it needs for more effective weight loss.
