I'm posting my weight a bit late because as of this morning I HAVE FINALLY BROKEN 170! It was getting to the point that I thought it would never happen - which is usually when it does. See y'all on Friday; I may or may not be down some more, which is okay.
BTW, I took some names off the list that we haven't seen in a bit, as I do from time to time. Hopefully we'll get some more peeps stepping on the scale with us come the New Year - the more of us looking to be less of us, the better.

Yeah not a great time of year to lose... i had my grandaughter here this weekend and between holiday treats and too much food i will be struggling to stay at the same weight i was last week. As of today i am still up two pounds. I am looking at the big picture and as long as i get into the new year below 220, i am happy. It is a long process but i am so glad to see you power through the tough times and hit a new milestone!

Thanks, Wayne. I really appreciate the encouragement! The holidays are tough, but then, how often do you get to see your grandaughter and enjoy some treats with her? I'm sure you'll stay below 220 into the new year. It's interesting - I find a lot of inspiration in you and all the other people here who have stuck with it, regardless of how fast or slow their individual weight loss has been. The real "secret," if there is one, is in sticking with it. Funny how it took me sooo long to figure that out!

I started tracking food back in October as part of a plan to get my body fat into a healthy range. Had this measured as part of a 'body project' program through my work. Good wake up call.
I've been doing the programs intense weight training 2x's/week. In addition, I do cardio 2-3x's/week and walk another 3-4x's/week. I have also cut my calories from around 3000/day pre-program to 1600-1800/day.
Since it so happens I weigh in every Friday, I'm jumping on the Friday bandwagon with you guys...hope you don't mind!

Last Weigh-in: 9-Dec-2011: 195.4
Goal: 30 March 2011: 20% body fat (169.2lb assuming same lean body mass).
I am perpetually trying to lose 15-20 pounds. I haven't figured out how to do it yet. My workplace is a big part of the problem. This place could double as a bakery. (It's an office of ladies.)
I was newly motivated in November and lost about 4 pounds in 2 weeks. Then something happened and I lost track of my motivation. I just don't have much stamina or something. But I have been reading a lot lately about fast oxidation diets and am eager to try eating according to that. Maybe it will help my appetite find some discipline.
change: it's great to see you back again and breaking that platform you were stuck on!. hope you can keep it up during the holidays!
as for me i'm up alittle bit this week, but i think that is mostly due to the fact that i've been cheating alittle bit. i was keeping about 2 lbs ahead but now i'm alittle behind. this is abit of a wake up call to see how much a tiny bit of cheating effects me!
so in the up coming week there will be no cheating! and also trying to get some workout time in will probably help as well, i want to be able to try and be ahead by my 2lbs again (it's a very nice buffer for my off weeks)
and this time of the year will be hard thats for sure!
Ho, ho, ho.... Good morning everyone i am up a couple pounds.... whatever i am going to try to hit it harder this week and try to stay at a reasonable weight to get through next weekend. If i stay withing four pounds i will be happy! Have a great week and let's keep losing!
