OK I will start:
1) Explore gentle yoga or mellow exercise class (new goal!) or walk or gym (old goal) at least 3x: went to the gym and actually worked up a sweat, been researching gently yoga classes in my area
2) meditate 20 minutes per day (newish) and one hour on Sat (new goal): outside on my porch, so good
3) avoid sugar, it is NOT your friend: despite temptation yes
4) write 500 "real" work daily: yes
5) one hour writing daily: yes and I rejoined the writing class I had dropped
6) fruits and veg: 6 or more
7) water yourself : 9 cups
8) if you cannot do it with a giving heart, don't do it: hmmmmmm, working on it
9) take Lysine for cold sore avoidance: yes
10) take supplements: yes

I don't get along with veggies. I can do all types of lettuce, corn, and beans. Carrots have to have ranch dressing, and it has to be full fat I can't do lite. And I'll eat any potato that you put in front of me. That's really about it....
I didn't think you lost your mind. Mike asked if you lost your mind. I believe you can do it.

I suppose winter squash also out of the question? Or sneaking veggies into smoothies? Well you know you best; we all work with what we got.

Default I'm sorry Tori.

I know you didn't lose your mind. I didn't mean it like that. I'm well away that you can't lose something if you never had it.

I'll be okay thanks. Just some work stress and it puts me in a bad mood. I have to watch my attitude because I sometimes say things that I shouldn't

April, sometimes is best to keep your mouth shut and let the baseball bat do the talking for you!

Monday: got the 5k done - due to the heat/humidity, took a little longer than usual. Spent the day (6+ hours) making pesto from the basil and garlic in the garden. It took me so long b/c I picked enough to make 3/4 of a GALLON!

the numbers are as follows:

Calories: 1,339 Fats: 69.3g Carbs: 78.3g Proteins: 105.0g

Carbs are up & proteins down 'cause supper involved that pesto, italian bread and tomatoes...and homemade hummus, peppers, jicama, cukes and baby carrots. With all that garlic, the vampires should keep well away!

Didn't get in any meditation time...will work on that today (in the air conditioning!).

Hi Judi - That is fantastic!!! Are you going to preserve pesto for later? I would love to know how you do it. I made a ton of pesto once and froze it in jars, but it did not turn out very good...
