Default Working for better health!

Recently my boyfriend and I watched to documentary Forks and Spoons and we were inspired to change our eating habits!

Personally, I'm a junk food junky with a big appetite and I never work out. But lately I haven't been feeling so great, a sign that something has to change. I'm thinking that a big shift in diet is going to be the first step. It's gonna be a challenge!! But at least I have the boyfriend and a good tracker to help me out.

Hopefully I can find some other supportive people around here. ^_^

Smile I hear ya!

[QUOTE Personally, I'm a junk food junky [/QUOTE]

I understand that completely! I see the clock turn to 7 at night and my junk craving is at its best! I to have recently just felt an urge more or less to just get myself on the right track to a better and healthy lifestyle!

I wish you the best of luck!

Hi there. If you want another inspirational movie(to make you ill!) watch Super-size Me! An otherwise normal guy in good health has to eat nothing but McDonalds and if asked to Super-size he has to. He must eat during the time period, everything on their menu at least once. He is monitored by Drs and its dramatic the changes in various levels that are recorded and their effects on the body, nevermind that he gained alot of weight.
Not that I ever thought a steady diet of that stuff(any similar fastfoods) was in any manor a good idea, but it was eye opening. Even Drs had no idea the effect it would have on him. Paraphrasing here, but one Dr said his liver was in such bad shape it was like someone who drank heavily for his life.
Anyway..check that out.

Morgan Spurlock's (creator of Supersize Me) follow up book (Don't Eat This Book: Fast Food and the Supersizing of America) is very, very interesting as well. Welcome!
