Default I'm baaack!

January 1st I set a goal to see my abs by my birthday. Well, my birthday is now about six weeks away so I'm kicking things into overdrive from here on out. I've been eating well and engaging in moderate exercise over the last several months so I'm down about 5-7 lbs from the holidays and I can feel myself getting close, but things have slowed way down so it's time to start calorie tracking again!

My roadmap is to control my calories and ratios (c/f/p) and follow a 4-day-a-week gym routine, plus work on my abs every day. I'm tracking my workouts over on Fitocracy so if anyone wants to follow along with what I'm doing exactly, my username is the same there as it is here. Hopefully in about 6 weeks I'll be able to show everyone before-and-afters, which I've never posted before.

Let's do this!

Welcome back!!! Hey guess what???? I'll be in San Francisco from May 8-14, we should meet up!

You plan on working out your abs every day??? How close are you to seeing your abs and what's your workout routine look like? I don't need details.

I think I'm on the verge of seeing an ab or two. Actually the reason I'm doing abs so much is a friend challenged me to a plank challenge for April. I can't turn down a challenge.

Besides that, big 3 lifts along with some assistance lifts, and I'm actually sucking it up and throwing in some cardio this time.

SF is a fun city. Unfortunately I've got a wedding to go to and Mother's Day is that same weekend, so I'll probably be booked up. Might be in NOLA in the summer though!

Sounds good. Have you ever been to NOLA before? How long are you going to be down for?
