Default Basal Rate Values

Can anyone explain why Fitday's basal rate values are so much higher than any other basal rate calculator? I enter weight, height and age and seem get an absurdly high value in Fitday. I went the Mayo site and used their calculator and get a significantly smaller value that is in line with many of the free online other basal calculators. I could not ascertain why my weight loss was at asuch a slower pace with the Fitday number, but now using the Mayo number my weight loss is at the predictable pace.

Try logging sleep or using a custom rate.
