I took me a while to get fit enough to do high intensity interval training (HIIT). But once I added 1 or 2 4-8 min bouts per week to my normal walking, my libido skyrocked.
I'm 45 165lbs down from 210(took 2 years) and I now "perform" better and could "perform" much more often if she required/let me LOL. Fasted HIIT has had a greater effect for me.

I have been roughly gauging my general health by my libido.
If my libido is raised does that mean a rise in testosterone?
