Hello all! I've been using the site for some time now, and just now ran across the forums. This seems like a good group to join for motivation, which I need at this point.
At my heaviest, I weighed 192; in August, when I started my current weight loss program, I weighed 184; currently, I weigh 163 - and I've plateaued!
As recently as Friday (four days ago), I was down to 161, but after one day of cheating (meaning merely that I exceed 1200 calories), I gained 5 pounds and I've been working to "re-lose" that weight.
I don't know how one day of cheating a little can cause such gains! I've heard and read one day of cheating a week is supposed to help weightloss, as it tricks your metabolism. I guess my metabolism called my bluff...
