Physiotherapy is an effective method that prevents and cures various orthopedic injuries, neurological disorders and diseases, and improves flexibility and joint range. A skilled physiotherapist will be able to treat a range of disorders, including headaches, migraines, neck and shoulder pain, arm and hand pain, back pain, sciatica, hip and groin pain, knee and foot pain, or associated symptoms of tingling, numbness or weakness.

Physiotherapy is a proven alternative therapy by all means. Because the body of knowledge of physical therapy is quite large, some PTs specialize in a specific clinical area. While there are many different types of physical therapy some of them are listed here.
 Cardiovascular and pulmonary: - Primary goals of this specialty include increasing endurance and functional independence. Cardiovascular and pulmonary rehabilitation respiratory practitioners will treat many individuals with cardiopulmonary disorders. Manual clearing of the lungs secretion would be done.

 Clinical electrophysiology: - it will include electrical therapy called as electrophysiology (EMG) that will record the electrical activity of the muscles.

 Neurological: - it will focus on the individuals who have neurological disorder. In neurological disorder nervous system is not working properly. it is the structural, biochemical abnormalities in the brain, spinal cord or the nerves, its symptoms includes paralysis, muscles weakness, loss of sensation, confusion, pain and poor coordination.

 Orthopedic: - orthopedic physical therapist manages the disorder and injuries of musculoskeletal system including rehabilitation. Orthopedics therapist are trained I the treatment of the sports injuries, arthritis, sprains, strains, back and neck pain.
