great job Matty!!! Hoping to lose this pesky pound I keep bumping it down, but it keeps peeking at me from time to time, when I don't see it for a week, I'll call it lost.

It's been a really hard month... I'm not sure (because I'm afraid to step on the scale) but I think I may have undone everything I worked so hard for. I plan to be back home in the next few weeks, and am hoping it will be easier to deal with life when I do.

Congrats everyone that has had success in this challenge, and am hoping that I'm in a better position the next time around.

4.a.healthier.me, don't get discouraged. It's a lifelong challenge for us. The number of times I've done that are too numerous to count.

I think the biggest thing I've done this time is I've kept exercising. I run every day with my kids' cross country team. The kids are my biggest fans, and I feel like I'm letting them down if I don't do the run.

I think if you can make yourself exercise consistently, then the lapses don't do as much "damage" to our weight loss.

Keep at it, and remember, this is a lifetime thing, not a two or three month thing. One month, is one month. You can redo what you undid. I know you'll do it.

Thanks Matty

I expect to be back home by the 15th, so we'll see how much the more predictable day to day helps with the process. I'm starting a challenge on another site that sounds really cool.

I'm starting today, but the official start day was 9/23..."Walk 100 days to the new year". The basics are that you commit to walk, run, etc for at least 20 minutes a day for 100 consecutive days, so that by New Years day 2013 you're so in the habit that you don't even have to think about "exercise" because it will be as much a part of your day as breathing.

Anyone want to join in the fun?
