I feel so good loosing weight I have at least 18.8 pounds to go want to get down to 180.
I always log my food for the day and follow my calories very closely.
Anyway I am happy:D

Good news! Not only did I lose 3lbs. down to 248!!! I lost more than my first goal of 250!!! So onward & downward!!

Congrats to all with good #'s. For those who stayed the same, or the #'s went in the wrong direction ; stay the course, it's only a bump in the road. This too shall pass.

Im going to be brave and join this. My starting weight is higher then the rest. I weighed

335.6 on 02.10.10 i am now
325.4 10 pounds.. ok start

I am down 1 lb this week, was hoping for more but I'll take a loss over a gain any day! :) Not losing as fast as I anticipated, but I have drastically changed my eating habits, and sure do feel good.

Congrats on the losses everyone, and hang in there to the gainers!

157.5 again. Guess I should be happy I didn't gain. Thinking I may up my calories for a week between 1400 and 1600. At 1200-1400, I should be loosing a steady 2 lbs per week but it isn't working that way. Hard to eat more when you're used to not being able to. Pancake Sunday..here I come. Congrats to everyone!! Looks as though everyone is doing super!!

Hello everyone!

I just signed up for fitday yesterday. You seem to be a very supportive group! I was wondering if I may join you in losing weight?

I would like to lose 40 lbs by the end of July. What are you guys doing to lose weight? I've read so many different things about nutrition and weight loss that I'm not sure where or how to begin.

Is anyone looking to mentor a soon to be "loser"?

Keep up the hard work, you have all inspired me already. Thanks!

Hi everyone, congrats on the losses!! I couldnt access the forum on Friday for some reason. I started out at 207, week before last. Friday at weigh in I was 202.2.... So 4.8 lb loss. I will say this, I weighed this morning too, and have gained 2 lbs back =( Im not sure what I did wrong, if anything, or if its just because Im just starting out. I weigh at the same time, and have stuck to counting calories all weekend. If anyone has encouraging words, Id love to hear them!!

Most likely a water weight flucuation. Make sure that you weigh yourself at the same time every day. I weight myself every morning before I eat or drink anything. I know it is a "dry" weight but provides a stable baseline.
