how to eliminate midnight snacking
My night time hunger cravings over the past few years have resulted in two things: crumb-coated couches discovered the next morning, and high triglyceride levels from the large quantities of carbohydrates in my snack selections.
I've discovered by accident that if I can maintain my sanity long enough to get from the bed to the fridge without reaching for a box or bag, I can take two or three good swigs of Propel sweetened with Splenda and go back to bed before my brain realizes that what went in my stomach wasn't actually food. The sweet flavor fools my system into thinking it just had a carb fix, at least for me.
