It has been awhile since I posted my weight loss I am still on track with the lifestyle way of eating, but have lost so much so fast that the skin is so loose and plenty, the dr. said I am easily carrying around 10-12 lbs of excess skin
I am going to try and excercise more now that my health has improved alittle but again dr states skin was stretched so much so fast (on top of my already overweight body of 234lbs I gained 85 lbs of fluid buildup with in a 2 week time ) and lost it fast( water fluid drained over the next 2 weeks) probably will not ever go away but can try to tone some of it up.

I weighed 234lbs a week before hospital in July 2011 and in hospital went up to 319 lbs now I am down to 163 lbs all since July 2011.

Congrats to all who have lost weight or maintained it keep up the great job

Vickey wow good work on loosing so much weight! and keep up on staying a healthy weight and hopefully working off that loose skin!

i'm only 22 but snice my belly had been 52 inch at belly button level i still worry that i'll have some baggy skin if i lose all my belly fat i'm sitting at about 48 inch belly now.

but i've also notice i am loosing the fat on my fingers, snice my engagment ring is loose now and i can now also try one my wedding band that a size smaller and it fits like a glove. where as when we were buying the two ring (they a matching set) i couldn't even get them on my ring finger. so thats encouraging for me

less than a pound for me to go for 30 pounds lost i'm excited, and now less than 5 to get to 200.
and i'm now offically the lightest i've been now i feel pretty good about myself right now!

There is some serious awesomeness happening on this forum today - congrats to all on their progress.
Vickey - nice job on your accomplishment, and I hope you find a way to work out while still being easy on yourself. Not an easy balance, I know.

sdpony - Keep at it. Sometimes our bodies need a bit of time to catch up to our efforts.

Looks like it's been a good Friday for a lot of us!
Change, Vickie, Yunalee - great work! It's great to get tangible results to see.

sdpony - Just stick with it and you will see results. Body weight can vary so much for so many reasons. I know if I have a high sodium day on Thursday I can jump a good 2-3lbs (which happened to me before Xmas). Since than I really try to keep a regular routine for at least 24 hours before weighing in.

Today I forgot my morning banana, so I came in lower than expected...but even taking that into account I am more than happy with where I am!

yunalee....great job keep up the good work...I know my rings even my watch and bracelets are too big my wrists have shrunk who would have thunk ,,lol
Also can't wear any of my dress shoes as they are even too big.
Have been keeping the thrift stores in the red since I have been going down a size almost every week it is better to buy there than a retail store until I reach my goal size (I am down from a 3x now a 14-12) goal size is 9-10.

change......great goal reached I also am not going to back track I can't as my life depends on it. I was diagnoised in July with auto immune related cirrohis (I have never drank nor did any drugs and only have had one partner my dear hubby of 36 yrs) but my thyroid and a few other health factors caused my liver to shut down and all but 1/3 of it is damaged beyond repair was scheduled to talk to drs about a liver transplant in January but because I am taking the meds . watching my very strict diet and doing everything they tell me too my liver is in a compensating state so it has been put off till I fail..and that is also why it is hard to excercise as I get really tired and they don't want me to over work my system and this is harder for me than changing the eating lifestyle as I have always been very active.But thru God guidance I will.

sdpony...don't get discouraged sometimes it does take our bodies time to realize it is doing something good for it. Keep up the good work and we will be reading the great results next Friday.

clarkslp...I love my bananas and as I posted on another page I get mine in by using my new machine called a Yoanana (read my page) they also help me to maintain my potassium that my body needs ... go eat your banana and enjoy it
