What about fat?
I'm new here and have begun to log food intake closely. From what I've read in the above posts most are on low-fat WOEs. Anyone thought that eating MORE fat would be more satisfying - a good way to keep protein and calories down, but a good way to be satisfied with less volume?
I try to keep protein to 65 g daily, and carbs as low as 20 g daily, but will to up to 120 gs of fat - coconut oil/milk, butter, and fat on meat. On this I can stay around 1500 cals daily and don't get that "hunger" we all know and hate. As I have only that last darned 10 lbs to lose this is a better way for me. Comments? P.S. this is a great site! and I'm glad I found it as it really helps to hear the experiences of others on the same path...:) |

Personally, I tend to average around 40/30/30 carbs/protein/fat and it seems to work for me. Regards, Michael |
