Default Having a bad day / eye opener!

So, I went to a department store this weekend and bought some new summer shorts. I didn’t try them on there, but just brought them home.
I usually wear a size 20, but I bought a size 22W, because I know ive gained a bit of weight since i last bought clothes.
I was super sad to buy a size 22 for the first time in my life. i have never bought a size 22 for myself!... but I wanted to get comfy shorts that fit, even if they were a bit big.

So I just tried them on, and they were SUPER tight, I couldn’t even button them!! I have no idea what size I am now, but I got the size 22 to have some baggy shorts! Arggghhh!

plus, I found my first gray hair.

1st mini goal - button up new shorts.
2nd mini goal - throw away new shorts because they are too baggy.

You can do it!

Tell you what sister, I have been where you are standing, gray hair and all. Only my gray hair was WHITE AND CURLY . The good news is that now you have some shorts to work toward. I've found that it always helps me to have something to shrink in to. Can't say why that helps, it just does. If I have a big event coming up or something I might even intentionally buy something a size too small, so that I will have extra incentive to stay on track, and then I force myself to try it on once a week and stand in front of a mirror.

Oh and by the way I wouldn't put too much emphasis on the size, the clothing industry messes with the minds of the masses with that business. Seriously I have clothes in my closet that range from size 6 to 10, or small to XL and they all fit me just about right.
