How much are you going to lose?
 
OK, writing it down (even on this forum) means you are committing to change.

What is your current weight and your target weight, or how much will you be losing?

My current weight is 205 and my target weight is 170, so I'll be losing 35 pounds!

Anyone else have a weight loss goal? If so, share it with us, and we'll track our progress along the way!

I have been a member for almost a year. I started at 198. I was thrilled to go from 'obese' to 'overweight'. Now my new goal is to get to 165 by April.

I am hoping to lose 40lbs. I am at 235 now, am hoping to get to 195 by June. That is my first goal. Overall, I hope to get to about 170. A realistic goal.

I hope to lose about 30-50 pounds.
I'm currently 170ish and hope to get down to at least 135.
I'm 5'8".
I'm shooting for 8 to 10 pounds a month/

In Febuary 2008, I was 271.8lbs and a BMI of 40 (morbidly obese). In early June 2009, I was 257lbs. Today I am 179.8lbs. I am 5'8" and male. Aged 33.

I want to be 170lbs by the end of January.

I want to be 164.4lbs (BMI of 24.99) by the end of February, although by Valentine's Day would be better.

I want to be roughly 150-160lbs, with a noticeable muscular physique by July 3rd.

I want to have KEPT myself in that same weight range and condition by January 2011 and for the rest of my life...

I am currently at 183 lbs and I would like to get down to 135. So around 50 lbs in my goal. I'm trying to break it down into small goals. First I want to get to 165, which was where I was pre-baby (she's 1 year old now). And then I would like to get back down to 145 (the weight I was when I got married) and then push it a little more to 135. I really hope I can stick with it this time.

My goal is to hit 175 by April. Currently, I am a 45-year-old 5'10" Male weighing 189 lbs. In December 2004 I tipped the scales at 282 lbs. With careful eating, and heavy, whole-body weightlifting, I am now refocussed for the final push.

I'm a 33 years old woman. I'm 5"2 and I weigh 162 lbs. I guess I really can't say how much weight I want to lose. I have a lot of muscle underneath my adipose tissue :). I would like to be leaner and see more of the definition I have been working hard for. I would say about 25 lbs. I would like to lose about 5-6 inches off of my waist and have a strong, lean, healthy body. Also I would like to decrease my BMI from 29% to about 24%.

My goal is to lose 11kg, which (according to the handy dandy conversion calculator!) is 25 lb...

I am 5'8, and my start weight was 202.8lb, currently 198, and on my way (hopefully) to 174 :D

Looking at my BMI thing though, that will still put me in the overweight range :o so I might have to revise my goal when I get a bit closer to it!

My ultimate goal is 135. I started at 193 in November and now am at 188. My goals are set at 10 lbs increments. I can't wait to reach the first 10 lbs because I received an hr long massage certificate as an incentive to get moving!:p

I'm 25y/o, 5'1 and currently am at my heaviest of 147. I just tracked my weight loss goals and intend to lose *20*pounds in*10*weeks and*5*days. I think this is very attainable being that I have recently become very active at the gym in the last 2 months, however I started changing my eating habits 2 days ago and counting calories is something I need to get used to, as long as I can remember to track it and become smarter about what the nutrition facts are of what I'm putting in my mouth, it should make it much easier to adapt...here's to 2010 and a slimmer summer! :D Good luck to everyone and if you have great tasting recipes that are high protein/low calorie don't hesitate to start a thread or email them to me!

I am at 175lb my target goal weight is 130lbs so I really wanna lose 45lbs, I gave myself a year to do this...

I weigh 175 and want to get down to 125. I'm 5'4" and very small boned, so 125 lbs puts me at a size 8. I'm giving myself as long as it takes to lose the weight. :)

I am 5'6 251lbs and I want to get to 140 so I have 111 pounds to lose :eek:. I just joined weight watchers last night for the scond time since my mother just lost 80 in 2 years. SHe jsut got her life time award this week.

hi all. i am a 33 female, currrently 286lbs. i started going to the gym and working with a diet coach one week ago and was 291lbs then. my short term goal is 50lbs by june 30, 2009. then i will reevaluate where i am and set another goal. i have been heavy since the birth of my first child 16 yrs ago. i recently found my high school sweetheart after being apart for 20 yrs. he is a very healthly person who is training for a body building show, so he is being my personal trainer. i know this is gonna be a long road, but i think i might make it this time! good luck to everyone!

I am 36yo, 5’6” and 190 lbs. I am going to the Mayan Rivera in May so my goal is to lose 30 Lbs by May 1st. That will put me at 160 Lbs. I will have to lose approximately 2lbs a week to reach my goal. I will still be in the Overweight category by 5 lbs and would like to reach the goal of anywhere under 155 lbs by 31 May (my 37th Birthday.) Good luck everyone…Stay motivated!

I'm 27 (will be 28 this month) year old woman who is 5'4'' tall and currently weigh 178 (after the holidays). Some friends and I started losing together last August after 15 pounds I was the only one still on the wagon, without their support and the holidays I fell off too... :(

Anyway, My starting weight was 195 (in Aug 09) now at 178 I have several goals. First I want to be at 150 by May 20th (nieces graduation, going to see lots of family). Second goal is 140 by July 10th (vacation in Key West). Thirdly I want to keep my weight off and be down at least 55 pounds within 1 year (Aug 2010).

I am 40 yrs old and weigh i currently weigh 167.7. I am 5'3". I started 1 week ago at 169.2.(WOOHOO) My first goal is to get to 145 by the end of March, when I go see Bon Jovi in Philly, Cant wait to go!!!:D. Then maybe 5-10 more pounds. I am doing ok with the diet part but really need to step up with exercising. So I am taking my daughters WII out of her room and putting where I can use it with WII Fit and My Daily Trainer. Hopefully that will kick up my weight loss.

Im a 34 yr old woman whos 5ft 5in. I have been overweight all my life. I started my journey on Jan 5, 2009 at 236 lbs. Its now Jan 6, 2010 and Im 150lbs now. my new goal is to get more toned and mabe get down to 140 since I still seem to be carrying alot of fat on my body. I did a lot of cardio and not enough weights I think. I need to tone up. Dont get me wrong I have never felt this good about my body just worked to hard to quite now!!!! keep it up everyone!

I'm 5'8.5" and 154lbs....plan to lose 9 lbs in 3 months....that will bring me to 145...and hopefully I'll lose a little more after that!!! Ultimate goal is 135-140.

I am 47 yrs old and 5'8". I joined in April 2004 at 235 lbs. By Ocotber that year I was down to 173 and felt fabulous. I continued to exercise and watch what I ate and kept it around 180, that is until sometime in late 2008.
Weighed myself Monday morning and I'm back to 200 lbs. No wonder my size 12 jeans are tight!!
Back at it this week. Set the first goal of 185 by March 27, my niece's wedding. Second goal is back to 170 by Aug. 5...All girls weekend in VEGAS BABY!! :cool:

lI'm a 56 year old woman, 5'7". I started on January 1 at 218, with a target goal to lose 30 lbs by August 1, just before my birthday and our family vacation. I'd like to lose another 20 pounds after that and stabilize between 165-170. Lost 5 lbs this first week!

I'm currently 5'4" and 135. I would like to lose 15 lbs, but am shooting for 20 lbs so I'll be ok if I fall short, by the end of February. I'm going to costa rica and want to feel good in a bathing suit.

I'll be ok with losing less pounds as long as I lose the fat weight by gaining muscle.

I'm a 33 year old female, 5'2". I'm currently at 152- down from 156, my all time high. I would like to be at 135 by March 4th when we leave for Mexico (getting married in Cozumel!). So, 17 pounds to go. My ultimate goal is 125 by April 14th- my birthday gift to myself!

I'm 17 years old 6'1 and 223lbs down from 237lbs since late October. Ultimately, I'm hoping to get down to about 180-190lbs, (in total I hope to lose about 40lbs or so) by June. I know that goal may be a little extravagant but I'm determined. I've educated myself pretty well on staying healthy while losing that amount of weight so I think I'll be okay. I'll be shipping off to the United States Marine Corps boot-camp on June 26th and I need to get my physical condition in better shape. To everyone looking to lose, as well as gain, goodluck!

I am a 48 year old female, who needs to lose 65 lbs ASAP. Patience is going to be tough for me because I gained 50 lbs in a short time in 2009 after 2 surgeries. My goal weight is 135 by end of the year. I think that knee surgery and a seditary life style caused most of this, but I start eating more out of boredom.

I am a 51 year old woman almost 6' tall. The low end of my healthy weight range says 132.5:eek: I think I weighted that when I was 12! Does anyone else think their healthy range stats seem kind of low?
I'm 167 this AM, so I'd still need to loose another 34.5

I am commenting because I have a similar goal except I weigh 171, well 169 now. I want to get to at least below 145lb by my 30th year high school reunion in July 10.

I am currently at 169 lbs and I would like to get down to 145, so around 26 lbs is my goal.

I'm trying to break it down into small goals. First I want to get to 155 by end of February, then 145 by end of April. When I get to 145, I will see how I look and feel and whether or not I need to lose more.

My 30-yr high school reunion is on July 24th 2010 and I want to look and feel my best!

My weight has caused me a lot of additional pain from my back surgery as well as undue stress.

I started on January 4th, weighing 237 lbs. being 5'2" with a small frame, I am set to lose 117 lbs. by Dec. 31st. It sounds unrealistic, but that is with the recommended amount of a little over 2 pounds a week. If you were to lose 2 lbs exactly per week that would total 104 lbs. in the 52 weeks of the year. So, it's really doable and done in a healthy fashion.
