I haven't been able to lose weight ever. i started at 215. I will get down to 180. Keep to eye on the prize!

I'm 5'5", and I started at 149 two and a half weeks ago. I'm down to 143, and I'd like to lose 11 more to get to 132 pounds in the next two months. That would give me a BMI of 22. A more immediate goal for me is to get down to 137 for our summer vacation which is a month away.

I am a 58 yr old, 5'4" female with a few medical issues. I currently weigh 179. I would like to try calorie cycling, the chart tells me 1432 for 5 days a week and 1719 and 1576 the other 2 days. Does this sound right? I have been eating 1200-1300 a day and not losing very well. I would like to reach my initial goal of 150 by October.

Post My weight loss goal

I'm 31, and I started using fitday on the 13th of this month. When I got on the scales today I had lost nine pounds so I was thrilled. But I have no idea what happened to me today. I went from eating normally less than 1200 cals per day to eating 3000 today. So, thats kind of disheartening. Anyway, as of this morning I'm 233 pounds and hoping to get down to 145 (my college weight), but I'm doing this strictly for my health, not cosmetic reasons.

I'm 27 years old and 5'6". I started fit day a week ago and yesterday I weighted myself and lost one pound. I would like to lose 15 pounds total (goal weight is 130). I would also like to get my body fat to 14% (or lower), which is a loss of about 5%. I think it would be a great birthday present to myself to reach that goal, so that gives me a little less than 5 months. I can do it!

My cuurent weight is 211.5 and my goal weight is in the 150's. So I am trying to lose about 60 pounds. It seems completely overwhelming.

I know its overwhelming but keep it up. You have lost 11 pounds already, thats awesome. Keep up the good work and dont give up on yourself. Look foward to reading more about your results.

I am going to lose 83 pounds. started at 248 and goal is 165. I am at 242.8 today. I have been here for 6 days.

I am 21 and going to be a senior in college
At the beginning of the summer I weighed in at 198
By excercising and somewhat watching what I have been eating I am down 8 pounds
I joined fitday today at 190
my ultimate goal is to be 140 by Halloween with a weight loss of 58 pounds
By the end of August I would like to go back to school around 160 with a weight loss of 30 pounds this summer.
I am working really hard by monitoring what I eat, I replace a lot of the meat I would eat before with veggie burgers and replace chips with peppers or celery.
I also try to make it to Zumba & Zumba toning 3 times a week and run the rest.
I also am shooting to be able to run a 5K by August 21 I have been working on this since May.
If anyone has any great leg and arm excercises I am always looking for new ones!

I am 21 years old and have been overweight pretty much my entire life. My current weight is 188 and my first goal is 160. I am 5'9" so 160 is considered a "normal" weight according to my BMI. I don't know exactly where I will end up as I plan to eat and exercise as I have for the rest of my life, I may end up weighing less than 160 in the long run. I wish everyone the best of luck in their weight loss journey!!!
