OK, writing it down (even on this forum) means you are committing to change.
What is your current weight and your target weight, or how much will you be losing?
My current weight is 205 and my target weight is 170, so I'll be losing 35 pounds!
Anyone else have a weight loss goal? If so, share it with us, and we'll track our progress along the way!

Been a member since July,'09
When I started my diet and workout routine in March,'09, I weighed 212lbs.
My goal was to get to 160lbs within a 1 year timeframe, I wanted to lose at least 50lbs.
I was the typical slacker guy, focusing on beer drinking, red meat and carb eatin' couch potato on the verge of being diagnosed with type II diabetes.
I now weigh 165lbs. as of today (1/18/10)
and my Doc says I am officially 'healthy'.
5 more pounds to go.....

I am nearly a 40 year old woman. I currently weigh 185 and hope to get down to 140 by the end of summer. I am a teacher and my struggle times are when students are snacking. Today, I brought baby carrots. It was good, but I have to come up with something a bit more exciting if I am going to stick to it. Any good snack ideas?
