I believe there is no such thing as spot-reducing, but there is toning (firming up an area). You lose weight in places you cannot control, as you diet, but you can tone up an area with exercise. Squats are good for strengthening the thigh muscles, for example.

Healthy eating plus regular trainings. Also coolsculpting procedures can help to get rid of fat cells faster. I tried coolsculpting in Brooklyn last summer and I lost 15 lbs after a few sessions. This year I'm planning to do it again before summer.
