What worked for me is double cleansing. I cleanse my face with an oil based cleanser, then cleanse it a mild cleanser. I swear by this routine. Number one cause of acne is dirt.

Drink more water and wash your face with facewash 2 or 3 times.Avoid oily foods.

Thanks! But I think the best remedies are cleansing wipes and moisturizer!
Seriously. It's like night and day. I've taken friggin 10 years off of my face. I got some cheap brand makeup remover/cleansing wipes that I use before bed, then I use facial moisturizer before bed and in the morning. It's got a little sunblock in it, too, so that's good for long term skin health.
