The Official Unisex 100+ Pounds to Lose Thread

As to an eating plan, that is a very personal decision. I basically eat any "good" food that I want. I limit simple carbs and eat no "junk food" (especially no dessert type foods, which are my major downfall). I go for 100 grams of protein every day and a calorie mix of 40/30/30 carbs/protein/fat.
Other than that, drink as much water as you reasonably can and log EVERYTHING. If you maintain a consistent calorie deficit the weight will peel off pretty quickly.

Michael

I was not as strict on my eating this month and changed around my exercise plan, but seemed to be still on track, if i would have weighed on the 9th, i would be up to 17lbs.....on to the next month.

That's great, i was on a business trip since Friday and some of the places didn't have all the stuff i normally eat so i ate a few more calories than i normally would have then i added in a meal mid day since i had long days....glad i'm back home and get back on track...i was lucky enough to be able to eat less calories than i burn, but i took about a 500 calorie hit each day...

This thread has been quiet... I have been swamped myself but have still be checking in from time to time. I'd love to hear how a lot of you are doing so please post more!!!!
Things with me are going really well. I broke 250 today (249!! Woooo), which leaves me 8 lbs from the century mark. I am pretty excited about it. I have 7 trash bags worth of clothes that are too big which I am taking to Good Will and I am about to do another round through the closest again. I finally got to a weight where losing 10 lbs has a more dramatic effect on my size and appearance.
I miss you all and hope you are all doing well!!

Mike, congrats! Looks like you'll be into the Ones in what, March? It's a great place to be, I tell you what!
I have quite a few garbage bags of 2x,3x,4x,5x,6x,7x, etc. clothes. I'm getting close to the end--my size 42 suit coats are still snug and 36 relaxed jeans are just barely wearable. Another 25 or so off and I should be in pretty good shape (well, kinda squishy shape, but oh well).
I've just been going nuts at GoodWill and the Salvation Army stores. I must have bought almost two dozen dress shirts in the last month. I've gone from wearing T shirts, to polos and now to shirt and tie every day at work--amazing how one's attitude and personal "dress code" can change as we get into shape!

Michael
