I want to see these before and after pics of you, I need the motivation... where are they again? I looked in the success stories but couldn't find the thread you were talking about...

Here's the thread, now this was on May 5th, exactly one year after I made my lifestyle change. I was 249 then, this morning I was 228 so I guess I should take another pic. Also, I am still very much a WIP so this not, by any means, "after".

If you scroll down, there is a new picture of my and my Jeep for comparison.

Holy Crap! That is easily one of the best before/'during' pictures I have ever seen. You should be really proud of yourself and I am glad to hear that things are continuing to go well for you.

I can relate to so much of what you write about your past with the ups and downs. I have dieted on and off many times before, but I feel like for the first time in my life I am dealing with the core issues of why I didn't take care of myself and weighed almost 350 lbs. It has been an extremely tough but liberating process.

Your success is very motivational! I hope to follow in your footsteps.

@Virus - very big congrats for breaking into the 2's - I know it was making you nuts for awhile there. It's a big accomplishment, be proud - we certainly are proud of you as well.

Checking in

It's been about 2 weeks since I have been on-line. Congrats to all for persevering the temptations of summer and continuing to choose healthy foods and activities.

I have not been tracking over the last few weeks as I have been at mom's and helping her through some tough health issues. I go back tomorrow for another week. However, I am getting in a daily walk and have dropped 1.0 lbs in the last 2 weeks. I know its not miraculous but I am staying the course and keeping things in the right direction despite a stressful time.

Why is it there is always a stressful time? THe lord does challenge us doesn't he?

Oh well! All we can do is:

Make your plan, work your plan. See you in July.
