Dog walking is great exercise especially when one of the dogs is a 50lb boxer that is 16 months old and never walked on a leash until she moved with us in January. She pulls everywhere and man is she strong. So 20 minutes with her last night was probably much more than a walking the dog entry but that is what I used. My son walked the calmer boxer. She is almost 8 yrs old and only pulls a little. Just because she can pull him. But until I get the 'puppy' under control it is really hard to walk them both.
So yesterday I did my half hour at lunch and then another 20 minutes with the dogs. It felt good to have tired legs last night.

Good job on the weight loss. Walking a new pup is a challenge, but even a 10# is difficult when they pull. So you "done good".
I've got my menu written up for the week; now to figure how many cal. are there so I can stick with 1000/day...that should give me a 2-3# loss for the week. Clogging was tricky--I had 4 left feet today. Now I'm off to yoga with my trusty water bottle in hand. Lois

Hi All,
I just joined and found this section and I know I am going to fit in well. I would love to lose 100 pounds. I have even more than that to lose, but I know I would feel amazing at that weight. So here I am. I look forward to getting to know you all.

If there's anything we can do to help, just ask!

I just calculated my 4th of July goal and I hope I'm not weird but that is scary! Since I am over 300 I need to lose 31.3 lbs in just over 3 months. I have never set a goal like this before and am a bit scared of it, but I am going to do it. The worst thing that can happen is that I will still lose a bunch but maybe not actually reach the goal. I will still be healthier for what I did lose. Right?
