March 2011 weigh-in week 1: Let the fun begin!
Hi March 2011 group, here's my weight for this week.

Is this a Monday weigh-in group? The other 2 I've joined have weigh-in on Friday, but seriously I could use a Monday group to help me over the weekends. A friend of mine organized a "Biggest Loser" competition last January and we weighed in on Monday, which helped keep me honest all weekend. So I'm in. My goal by March 2011 is is to be 36.5 pounds lighter and to have maintained that for 2 months.

sure you can join!!! I think that a monday weigh in is the greatest thing it does hold us accountable for the weekends!! i didn't do to bad concidering i just started last week i have lost 3 lbs so far YEY!!

OK, I'm in too. I'm turning 50 in April and want to hit my ultimate goal by then.

How is the hunger/cravings going? I'm not sure why but I feel a lot hungrier than before. Maybe hormones who knows. How much water do you guys drink in a day?

vsabino---on a good day i'd say I drink 100 oz of water. i've been pretty good with cravings these past two days...altho I think that is bc I overdid it so much this past weekend that my cravings were subsided.

Salad or any type of veggie is a great source of fiber!
I also bought this supplement @ walgreens, 2 tabs have 16% of the recommended daily intake of fibers (all soluble): Fiber Choice Weight Management Sugar Free Chewable Tablets | Walgreens |

We do weigh-ins on Monday (to keep us on track during the weekend!) and we plan on achieving (or be close) to our goal in March 2011. What's your diet plan if you have already decided one? Good luck!! |

Just started using FitDay to keep track of my fitness goals and would like to join this group too. Started: 08/30/2010 Height: 5' 5" Starting weight: 151 lb Current : 145 lb Lb lost: 6 Goal #1: 135 lb by 11/17/2010 Lb left: 10 Goal #2: 130 by 1/1/2011 My main goal really is that by March, I am still at the weight I want to be at New Years. I have always played sports my entire life so I am not nor do I want to be less than 130 really. But having my first baby this past year when I was my heaviest ever is not something I want to repeat for the next time around. Thanks for the support and I will log in every Monday! Ann |

Hello, i'd like to join in too. i'm really close to my first goal which was 125 lb, only about 3.4 more lbs to go, but have adjusted it and changed it to 120 lb. based on this new goal, i still got some more lbs to loose and at this level, the weight is too stuborn to come off. i'm trying to give myself time and don't get frustrated with this slow progress and i guess i need the motivation.

Need help as well
I fell off the wagon this past week and am really paying for it. I never got home before 9pm and family decided to eat fast food or fried food and I was just too tired to make a salad or special meal. I gained 4 lbs and am very upset. I wish they would be more supportive and not so condescending about my weight loss.

I am officially on the radar :) I weighed in at 215 last Tuesday when I got my physical. My Doc said it would be fine if I pop into the clinic once a week to weigh in so Monday it is. I am starting this week off with a big pot of veggie soup-yum. Healthy and filling.

And I feel you when you say that it's not easy to have people not dieting around. It's not their fault, we should be strong enough to say no, but of course it's not that easy. I'm just saying you shouldn't be upset with them. Hang in there!! :) |
Well didn't lose any weight this week but didn't gain any either. 145 9/27/10

Week 2 weigh in
Well, I showed a loss this week, but it was my first week and I expected water as part of this number. Friday I was actually at 176, but knew I would be back up by today. I exercised a lot this weekend so it feels a little frustrating, but for some reason my body likes 177. I hope I can get several pouinds away from that number by next week.
