Yes! exactly, coffee has benefits too but as I've mentioned here before, it must be taken in moderation.

You should drink coffee, but 8 Cups are too much. I think for healthy life 2-3 cups are more than enough. You should better be careful about your health. I can harm you.

Coffee is not necessarily a bad thing but you do know what they say about too much of a good thing, as a coffee lover myself I recently found this video very insightful.

I looked for this thread, I have manage to cut down my coffee intake from 8 cups down to 4. I had no choice because I was on the borderline of being a hypertensive.

Anything what you too much is bad for you. Even drinking too much water will be bad for you! I suggest 1-2 cups/day maximum.

It is NOT SAFE to say that coffee can "protect your body from diabetes". Ask a Registered Dietitian, or check out the website of the American Diabetes Association:

"There have been several large research studies indicating that drinking coffee may play a role in preventing type 2 diabetes. However, other research has also shown that coffee intake can increase blood sugar in the short term. People with Type 1 diabetes may see a rise in blood glucose after drinking coffee alone. More research is needed on the effects of coffee in individuals with diabetes, but it can be enjoyed in moderation."
